Chiles Rellenos Especiales

ABOUT THIS RECIPE:

Impress your taste buds with CHILES RELLENOS ESPECIALES, featuring roasted Poblano Peppers or Anaheim Chilis stuffed with chicken, jalapeno, cilantro, and Juanita’s Hot & Spicy Nacho Cheese sauce. Perfect for a unique twist on traditional chiles rellenos. Serve with rice, beans or salad and enjoy!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 (15 oz.) can Juanita’s Hot & Spicy Nacho Cheese Sauce or Juanita’s Original Nacho Cheese Sauce
  • 4 Poblano Peppers or Anaheim Chilis
  • 2 Chicken Breast Approx
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder split in two
  • 1/2 tsp Mexican Oregano
  • 1/2 Medium Onion Diced
  • 1 tbsp Onion Powder Split in two
  • 1 Jalapeno Diced
  • 1/2 tbsp Cumin
  • 1 Clove garlic, minced
  • 1 Bunch minced cilantro Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 Green onion cut into small rounds

STEP BY STEP:

  1. Season and cook chicken, then shred.
  2. Mix shredded chicken with onion, jalapeno, garlic, cilantro, Juanita’s Nacho Cheese Sauce, and spices.
  3. Stuff peppers with chicken mixture and place in baking dish.
  4. Warm and pour remaining cheese sauce over peppers, bake at 400°F for 15 minutes. Garnish and serve with rice, beans or a small salad.
