Juanita's opened at 1300 Main Street in 1986. For 25 Years we've been a destination for great Tex Mex food and live music. In July 2011, Juanita's moved from the 1300 Main Street address to 614 President Clinton Avenue in the River Market District of Little Rock. With a view of the river, a spacious and inviting patio, and the same great food, we welcome the opportunity to serve new customers and old friends.
Juanita's has been awarded Best Cheese Dip by the readers of the Arkansas Times three times. We were named one of the best places to get a margarita by Marlboro Magazine, and we hold numerous "Best of" wins for Cheese Dip, Margaritas, and Mexican Food throughout the years. We use the same recipes introduced in 1986 for our famous hand roasted tomatillo salsa, our famous cheese dips, and all of the original items still on the menu today. 25 years of Live Music. Juanita's is a world famous entertainment venue known for the high caliber of artists who have played on its stage. In recent years, we've had Daughtry, The Foxboro Hot Tubs (all the members of Green Day), Black Label Society, Blue October, Henry Rollins, Maroon 5, Zach Galifianakis, Seether, Shinedown, Eric Johnson, Clay Walker, Justin Moore, and countless others perform. Bre Von Buxxxom:
Bre Von Buxxxom is a curvaceous and vivacious pioneering force behind the Arkansas burlesque movement. She is a founding member (and Manager/Fearless Leader) of the Diamond Dames, Arkansas’ premier burlesque troupe, as well as the Founder and Executive Director of the Arkansas Pin Up & Burlesque Society, which promotes burlesque and pin up culture throughout the Natural State. Busty and lusty, Ms. Von Buxxxom makes an impact both on and off the stage with her unique style, eccentric costume choices, and unstoppable enthusiasm for burlesque!
Heaven Lee:
She's not a fallen angel, but she's equally divine! Born and raised on the stage, Heaven Lee brings a modern flavor to classic burlesque in the style of such dancers as Miss Indigo Blue, Jennie Lee, and Tempest Storm. She is the Associate Director of Pin Up for the Arkansas Pin Up and Burlesque Society and winner of Most Classic in the 2011 Memphis Burlesque Showcase. Heaven Lee is 50% Lucille Ball, 50% Joan Crawford, and 100% woman.
Ro Manic:
This pirate girl will make you fall crazy in love! With a lifetime of stage experience, Ro Manic’s menagerie of dance styles will leave you dizzy with delight! She is the Associate Director of Burlesque for the Arkansas Pin Up and Burlesque Society, and has performed all over the Natural State and beyond. She is a bewitching gender-bender whose magic might just steal your heart.
Amy Pannell (Emcee):
Amy Pannell is definitely not the typical female comedian! Born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, Amy Pannell has been performing stand-up comedy for the past 6 years across Arkansas and surrounding states. She was on the cover of Sync Magazine Weekly August 2011 and is currently the host of The Pow Wow with Amy Pannell on KABF Community Radio 88.3, and the official emcee of the Diamond Dames.
Johnson “Puss” Powerbottom:
Johnson "Puss" Powerbottom has been butler-ing for a very long time. He buttled for a teenage pop-star while on tour, but found himself abandoned in Little Rock amid untrue accusations. Puss is the Diamond Dames’ boylesque brother, a costuming kamikaze, and the cleanser of all things dirty. He never, ever kisses and tells.
Lunch is Served from 11AM - 5PM Monday through Saturday.
Dinner is Served from 5PM - 9PM Monday through Thursday, and 5PM - 10PM on Fridays & Saturdays.
We are Closed on Sundays, except for Special Events listed on the Entertainment Calendar.
